Norah Jones al frente de The Little Willies

Norah Jones undertakes a parallel project at the helm of The Little Willies. The joint project with her boyfriend and several friends is captured in the form of an album.

What was a fun generated in 2003 became a frequent act in New York clubs, and what was going to be a live recording ended up becoming a studio album recorded in Norah and Lee's new house, in which a study was enabled. In addition to Norah on piano and vocals, and Lee on bass, The group is made up of Richard Julian (rhythm guitar and vocals), Jim Campilongo (electric guitar) and Dan Rieser (battery).

Some of the songs included on the album are versions of the Roly Poly de Fred Rose and I Gotta Get Drunk de Willie Nelson, beside Best Of All Possible Worlds de Kris Kristofferson, No Place To Fall by Townes Van Zandt and his own theme Lou Reed, Jones's only compositional contribution. With this selection it is not difficult to guess the country influence in the group's music., which offers an interesting insight into Jones' versatility
