Espectacular – Mister George Michael en Barcelona.

An ecstatic Palau Sant Jordi received the first tour, after 15 years old, by George Michael. With an unbeatable staging, the night became a multimedia explosion of color, of memories and good songs.

a scaffold – three-level walkway to host a dozen musicians and a gigantic screen in the center, like a waterfall, that even covered the ground, They left the audience speechless and took center stage of the night.

Dressed in rigorous black and with his usual glasses in front of the Barcelona public, to whom he complimented, diciendo ‘You’re beautiful’ , and greet with a 'Hello, Barcelona’ the show started.

With an unbeatable set of lights, that created atmospheres for each song, they sounded “Spinning the wheel” and “Jesus to a child”, to give way to his latest single “Easier affair”. The people didn't stop singing. Even when it rang “Im your man” the “Prayer for time”.

a mature voice, powerful in the ballads and very rhythmic in the other songs, showed that Michael has something to overcome the absence of concerts. And if the public was having a good time downstairs, It was obvious that the performer was enjoying what he was receiving to the fullest..

He didn't stop smiling. His voice came and went, the successes did not stop flowing, the people didn't stop singing, to yell at him in English “You´re beautiful”, or in Spanish “you are a guy” and even in Catalan. And George reflected that. He let it be felt in every song. But time had passed. The clock marked 12:30, the farewell had to begin. Few hours for so many years of waiting.

“Idol” marked the first goodbye. But it took so long to enjoy a concert by this English artist., It wasn't going to be so easy to let go.. So the stage shone again before the screams of the people. “Careless whisper” rang. The people vibrated. And the end touched again.

Two classics were missing “Wake me up before you go-go”, the success that catapulted Wham!, and “I want your sex”, the song that possessed him like a sex simbol. So the people didn't stop screaming. And George came back.

“Freedom 90” I would put the final point, leaving aside the two classics that never played, that not even the wait 15 years managed to make them come out of the trunk of memories. But still, it was worth it. three hours later, nostalgia was joy that was mixed with sadness. Many saw it again. Most did it for the first time.. But the 18 a thousand people left satisfied, smiling, before the evident joy of a euphoric George Michael.

25 Live will be rolling throughout Europe until 15 December 2006, where it will end in London.
