Lewis, of 22 years and release of the third edition of the English version of Factor X, sold 372.000 copies the first week, has been 8 weeks in no. 1 of singles in the United Kingdom and at the moment it has sold about 3 million records from their debut album.

“Bleeding Love is composed by One Republic's Ryan Tedder”, dice Leona Lewis. “It's a rock band but it has elements of Prince. Ryan has worked with Timbaland and is open-minded.. It is a love song that can be addressed to your boyfriend or also to a friend. It is simply about transmitting that you are close to that person”. It is the first single from “Spirit”, an album that Leona defines as “of classic songs with a contemporary touch. I have been experimenting with producers who, sometimes, have brought some of the sounds of cool electronica from the 80, although what I like the most is that the songs work outside of fashion”.
