Aleks Syntek continues on tour presenting his latest work titled flight lesson, mientras lo compagina con su dedicación al proyecto ALAS (fundación enfocada a la ayuda de niños latinoamericos).
Hace un par de años, Abril de 2006, I was talking about the pleasant surprise that meeting Shery had given me, like a chance meeting.
Now we meet her again at a concert in Guatemala, last friday, where the Mexican Aleks Syntek invited the Guatemalan singer-songwriter to share the stage.
Halfway through the evening, after singing “Stories of danzón and suburbs” and “Camino”, Alex Syntek said: “A very special moment is coming tonight, Well, what better way to give them back some of the love they give me?, to invite to this stage one of the artists with the most promising career, especially when it comes to a pretty Guatemalan woman”.
After the introduction, Shery went on stage accompanied by the audience's applause, where he performed acoustic versions of the hits as a duet with Syntek “love hurts” and “My impulses about you”, loudly chanted by the audience.
In an intense finale, where the artists played with their voices in an applauded vocal improvisation, The Guatemalan woman said goodbye saying: “Please a huge applause for the teacher of teachers Aleks Syntek. Thanks, It has been a great honor to sing with you”.
