¡Hola!… I in particular are much more of a fan of Mecano than of the three of them alone, but… despite the fact that I am not such a fan of Nacho's work as a soloist (I don't have the CDs as such, but I did download them in *.mp3) I can't help but recognize that he is an excellent songwriter and producer. Any song by Nacho Cano is good! and almost all (the ones that are sung) they are commercial.
As a composer of instrumental themes, What can I say?, is very good, they only have to give a second thought to the four instrumentals that Nacho composed for Mecano: WEDDING IN LONDON, WHERE IS FAIRIES COUNTRY? (instrumental), BY THE FACE and 1917.
His innumerable solo instrumentals are also very good.. Those on the album A WORLD SEPARATED BY THE SAME GOD are a very experimental type of music., but still pleasing to the ear, and those of his sung albums, they are obviously much more commercial instrumentals. So with your eyes closed, I recommend any compilation of this man.
Certainly, the titled track HYMN TO MADRID 2012 (commercially unpublished theme) 2:24, It is specifically about HYMN TO MADRID 2012 ( version I ). of this topic, Nacho made three different versions:
1. HYMN TO MADRID 2012 ( version I ) 2 my. 26 themselves.: A short instrumental with very little instrumentation.
2. HYMN TO MADRID 2012 ( version II ) 4 my. 16 themselves.: Instrumental with an addition of human voices (first a child and then, a woman) making "bocaquiuse".
3. HYMN TO MADRID 2012 ( version III ) 15 my. 21 themselves.: Instrumental with orchestral instrumentation.
