Kepa Junke (Bilbao-1965) will publish Hiri in September. Like a logbook, the album compiles stories and sensations. Create contemporary ethnic environments, shocking, open, musical fables: a flame of hope for the tribe, a new symphony for an emerging world
The generous musical appeal of this work is based above all on Junkera's immense ability to create contemporary ethnic environments., shocking, open, musical fables that captivate: a flame of hope for the tribe, a new symphony for an emerging world.
Published under the ELKAR label, record company where his first albums were published, to which he returns after ten years, and sponsored by the Lagun Aro insurance company, the album will be presented on the day 4 September in Getxo, where that same night, within the poster of the prestigious International Folk Festival, Kepa Junkera will offer a live concert to present it.
