Until 22 April can be seen at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona exposure “Bodies”. In Madrid from 2 February until 30 April, in the old cinema Carlos III, calle Goya nº5.
The sample uses the pull controversial the provocative artist Gunther von Hagens had with his exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London, using the same material, or actual bodies of men and women, it is said that his body donated for research, and that after several conservation processes are obtained very good results for display to an audience not used to seeing all these internals.
With a very colloquial language, simple, brief and without using jargon goes explaining and showing how our own body. It is an exhibition with an informative, didactic, open to the public and all ages, well advised and with no intention of provoking the visitor. The bottom line is to get the street cameras medical schools. Too bad the Gothic architecture of the room is completely canceled.
Understand and accept the criticism of the use of the human body to certain practices, but treated with dignity and respect and have a pedagogical function that is very positive, I think there is no cause for alarm. In the seventeenth century Rembrandt did the same painting a “Anatomy Lesson”.
