Son bastantes las entradas que he leido comentando que este trabajo esta lejos, muy lejos de Continuum. Yo no estoy de acuerdo. Batlle Studies es un disco diferente, que no es la fotocopia de Continuum, como todo el mundo espera, pero es un buen disco, con grandes temas. Mayer abre un poco más el abanico de posibilidades sonoras y evoluciona musicalmente, como no podia ser de otra manera.
