Javier Mariscal in Barcelona
Until 30 January 2011 we see in La Pedrera in Barcelona (Passeig de Gràcia, 92) the retrospective exhibition of Javier Mariscal.
Born in Valencia in 1950, moves to Barcelona 1970 which begins as underground cartoonist, draws in several publications and performs illustration and graphic design. From his speech at 1979 as a multidisciplinary designer duplex Valencia bar popularity soars.
Creator of famous images as COBI mascot of the Olympic Games of Barcelona 1992, his works reflect innocence and tenderness, but hidden irony and provocation, something that connects both the smallest and also with adult audiences.
His great production makes it impossible for her works can be seen in a single exposure. This sample resume his career during 40 years of hard work.
